Day at the Races

For David's birthday, Mom and Dad, Trey and Amanda, and Hayes and I went in together and got him a Dale Jarrett Racing Adventure 6 lap race at Talladega. He was a little nervous going into it but LOVED it. It was such a fun day being out at the track. People come from all over to Talladega to drive. There were people from New Jersey and even one guy from Australia.


David and I went early, and then Mom and Dad brought Hayes in time to see David drive. Hayes was so cute. He would yell and clap for every car that came by. "Go Race Cars!" Then, when we told him that was Daddy, he would yell, "Go Fast Daddy!"

David did great driving, too.  He got up to 172 mph and averaged 158 mph on his last lap.  He even passed one car on the track!  They might be calling him anytime to come drive full time!
