My 1st 5K

I set out to run my first 5K with two of my girlfriends from church.  One of them hurt her back before the race and didn't get to run with us.  I hurt my knee during training and was not in good enough shape to run it all, but I finished.  I was slow, but I wasn't last!!  My goal the whole time had been to finish and not die.  I reached my goal...HOORAY!!

David, Hayes, and Mom all went with me to watch me race.  Hayes was so cute.  He stood at the finish line and clapped and yelled for all the runners.  Everyone was bragging on how good he was!  He is such a sweet boy!!
