Hayes has been a lucky charm for the Tide since he was born. And, Saturday was no exception. I had taken his jersery off so that he could eat dinner and while it was off UT scored, recovered the on side kick, and drove the ball down the field into field goal range. David started yelling to get his jersey back on. We had barely gotten it on him and back in front of the TV before Mount Cody blocked the kick to win the game. Good. Luck. Charm!
Hayes also learned to do "TOUCHDOWN!" during the game. I am not sure how he learned it since Alabama didn't score the first touchdown all night, but at least they won. Let's hope he can perfect his new trick next week versus LSU!
